Urticaria is a contagious disease that is very common in children. After becoming ill, children will develop acne, accompanied by itching, etc. When children have urticaria, parents must isolate them as soon as they discover it to prevent it from spreading to others. Similarly, it is also necessary to seek medical attention and receive relevant treatment in a timely manner. In daily life, parents should take precautions against urticaria in children. Measles is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by the measles virus. It is highly contagious and occurs frequently in spring. Children under 5 years old are the main targets of infection, but in recent years, infants under 8 months old and adolescents over 14 years old are also not uncommon. The disease has gradually become a sporadic disease throughout the year. There are four main symptoms of measles in babies: early cold-like symptoms, measles mucosal spots, digestive system symptoms, and rash symptoms. 1. Early symptoms: The early symptoms of measles in babies are similar to those of colds, so many parents often confuse them. The main symptoms are moderate fever, with body temperature between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius, accompanied by coughing, sneezing, and runny nose. Some patients also have conjunctivitis, increased tears, photophobia, and eyelid edema. There is a relatively obvious horizontal line of congestion appearing at the edge of the lower eyelid. 2. Measles mucosal plaques: About 3 days after the fever, if parents find measles mucosal plaques on the buccal mucosa opposite the second molar in the baby's mouth, they should pay attention. This is the earliest and most reliable feature of measles in babies. Sometimes it can also be found on the inside of the lower lip, upper palate or gingival mucosa. These are some fine sand-like grayish-white spots surrounded by red halos. In most patients, the rash disappears within 1 to 2 days after it appears. 3. Digestive system symptoms: After a baby gets measles, most of them will have symptoms such as loss of appetite and poor spirits. The virus can also cause gastrointestinal discomfort. A few babies will also have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. Parents should pay special attention. 4. Rash symptoms: Rash will appear 1 to 2 days after high fever. The rash first appears behind the baby's ears and hairline, gradually develops to the face, neck, trunk and limbs, and finally appears on the palms and soles of the hands and feet. The entire rash process takes about 3 to 5 days. These rashes begin as small, light red maculopapules, then gradually become more numerous and larger, bright red in color, then the red turns darker, merges into each other, and begins to fade and disappear. The above are the symptoms of measles in babies. I hope it will be helpful to all parents. If you find that your baby has similar symptoms as mentioned above, you must seek medical attention in time and provide good care to avoid delaying the disease. I wish your baby grows up healthily! |
