Why do I always feel wet down there

Why do you always feel damp down there? There are many main reasons for this symptom. If you are weak, you will sweat. When you suffer from kidney deficiency, the symptom of wet scrotum will appear. Most patients also have soreness in waist and knees. In treatment, you should supplement the deficiency. Jingui Shenqi Pills, Liuwei Dihuang Pills, etc. are often used for treatment in clinical practice. When the scrotum suffers from eczema, it may also feel damp down there. Let’s take a closer look at it below.

Scrotal eczema is the most common skin disease of the scrotum and is an allergic reaction. Some people also believe that the occurrence of this disease is related to genetic factors, hot water washing, and irritable temperament.

The disease occurs symmetrically, often affecting the entire scrotum. The affected area is extremely itchy, the course of the disease is long, and it recurs repeatedly and cannot be cured after repeated treatments. In the acute phase, there may be various changes such as papules, blisters, pustules, erosions, exudation, and scabs. In the chronic stage, the symptoms include deepening of skin grooves, thickening of skin, and roughness of scrotal skin like leather, which is commonly known as "hydrangea wind". If the disease is delayed or not treated properly, the acute stage and chronic stage may turn into each other and last for many years.

It is worth noting that once the scrotum shows symptoms such as itching, exudation, scabs, and hypertrophy, and does not heal after a long period of treatment, it should be considered that this disease is caused.

Because this disease is not ringworm, it cannot be treated as ringworm. The most taboo for this disease is scratching, rubbing, friction, scalding, etc. Hot water, soap, salt water, alkaline water, etc. should not be used. Iodine, ringworm medicine, garlic and other irritants should not be used externally. As long as you can ensure that you do not scratch or irritate the skin, many patients can quickly improve. This disease is related to emotions. Keeping a good mood, getting enough rest and having confidence in winning over the disease are also key links. In terms of diet, you should avoid spicy foods, such as onions, ginger, garlic, etc. For drug treatment, cold compress is the main method in the acute phase. About 3000 ml of clean water can be used each time without adding any drugs, or 3 grams of alum can be added. Or use 10% Phellodendron chinense solution or 30 grams of dandelion and 15 grams of wild chrysanthemum to boil the soup and apply it on the skin after it cools down. If there is infection, add 1 gram of chlorhexidine or 0.1 gram of potassium permanganate and dissolve it in 3000 ml of clean water. These methods are very effective for scrotal itching and exudation.

Traditional treatment for the chronic stage is to apply Qingdai ointment or Pi Ku ointment externally. Heating and baking therapy is better. Fumigation or Sophora flavescens decoction bath can also be used. Western medicine treatment is mainly based on external use of prednisone ointment. It should be used for at least 1 to 2 months, applied to the affected area once in the morning and once in the evening. No bandaging is required. The thinner the better. There is no need to remove the previous medicine before the next application. Antibacterial ointment can be applied for infected eczema. For thicker scrotal eczema, tar ointments can be applied, such as 5% coal tar ointment, 5% pine oil ointment, 5% soybean oil ointment, etc.
