What to do if acne appears on lips

Acne is a common phenomenon. The redness and swelling of the corners of the mouth are mainly due to skin irritation. In addition, if it is oily skin, the blockage of hair follicles caused by excessive oil secretion can also cause acne. Most acne around the mouth is caused by eating irritating food. Do not squeeze the acne with your hands. You can apply some cooling medicine. You can also apply herbal toothpaste on the acne.

Acne is mostly caused by two reasons:

One reason is that the skin is oily, the sebaceous glands are overdeveloped, and the sebum secretion is excessive. If the pores are clogged or oil cannot be discharged smoothly due to other reasons, the sebaceous glands will continue to secrete, and sebum will accumulate in the pores, causing bulges and pimples.

Another reason is that the imbalance of hormone secretion in the body causes acne on the skin. This cause is more common during adolescence.

Imbalance in hormone secretion can also indirectly cause excessive sebum secretion, further aggravating the acne condition.

1. Stick to using facial soaps or cleansers designed for acne-prone skin. It does not contain soap or alcohol and will not irritate acne.

2. Do not over-cleans the skin. Because excessive cleaning will stimulate cells to secrete more oil, forming a vicious cycle.

Acne is caused by excessive oil secretion, poor excretion of keratin cells, and pore blockage. Repeated acne with pus spots in the morning is considered a bacterial infection. Oral antibiotics can be used. Minocycline and Differin and Bansai can be used externally to fight inflammation and dissolve keratin. You should pay attention to eating less greasy food and use oil-control facial cleansers to exfoliate regularly, especially 1-2 days after the menstrual cycle. Exfoliation is more effective because estrogen secretion is less during the menstrual period, and keratin accumulation and thickening occur.

If you have a pimple on your upper lip, you should not squeeze it with your hands as it may cause infection. You can apply some erythromycin ointment or Bactroban topically for treatment. Once the acne is gone, the swelling of the lips will naturally subside.

It is commonly caused by local furuncle infection. Keep the local area clean and avoid friction and squeezing.

It is recommended to disinfect the area with iodine, apply Bactroban cream for treatment, eat a light and easy-to-digest diet, and avoid spicy fish, shrimp and other irritating foods.
