Press and rub the Weizhong point Location: Located at the midpoint of the popliteal crease, between the biceps femoris tendon and the semitendinosus tendon. Massage method: 1) Press the Weizhong points on both sides with the thumb tips of both hands. The pressure should be enough to feel a slight pain. One press and one release counts as one time. Massage method: Use the pads of your thumbs to press and rub the contralateral Lieque points. Massage until you feel a sore and swollen feeling. Massage 50 times. The above back massage requires help from others, but there is a massage technique that you can do yourself. Self-massage: rubbing your back against the door frame In traditional Chinese medicine, there are two major meridians on the human back, on which are distributed some important acupoints. When the corresponding internal organs become diseased, they will manifest themselves at these acupoints. If you can press the acupoints when you don't feel any pain in your body, it will have a health-care effect. Since there is a saying in acupuncture theory that "it is better to miss the acupoint than to miss the meridian", people do not need to know the exact location of the acupoint and can just press the approximate location of the meridian. Therefore, as a daily health care method, it is recommended to try rubbing your back against the door frame. First, align the spine in the middle of your back (that is, the Du channel) with the edge of the door, gently press it towards the door frame, and rub it lightly up and down. Do this about 20 times per minute, and try to squeeze the entire spine. If you find a particularly painful spot when rubbing up and down, you can gently shake it left and right there, and press there from light to heavy for several days in a row.
