How to treat gastric distension

How to treat gastric epigastric disease? This is a question many people want to ask. Gastric epigastric disease is a term in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In fact, chronic gastritis causes the gastric mucosa to shrink, leading to a series of symptoms. The treatment of stomach discomfort requires three parts treatment and seven parts care. You should not smoke, drink alcohol, or eat spicy food. Rest is also very important for treating stomach discomfort, which many people may not know. Let's take a closer look at stomach discomfort and its treatment methods.

.

Gastric distension disease refers to a distension under the heart , fullness and stuffiness in the chest, which is invisible when touched, not painful when pressed, and does not appear swollen when viewed. It is often accompanied by chest tightness. Bloating occurs after eating, and belching is relieved. Most of them have a chronic onset. The disease is sometimes mild and sometimes severe, recurs repeatedly, and is difficult to cure. The onset and aggravation of the disease are often related to factors such as diet, mood, daily life, and temperature.

The basic pathological change of this disease is the atrophy of the intrinsic glands of the gastric mucosa . In its treatment, we must grasp two key aspects: on the one hand, to prevent the further atrophy of the glands; on the other hand, to promote the growth and regeneration of the gastric mucosa and glands. Both of these methods are radical treatments.

Preventing atrophy of gastric mucosal glands One of the main reasons for atrophy of gastric mucosal glands is chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa. After gland atrophy occurs, chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa still exists, so inhibiting chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa can prevent further atrophy of the glands.

Glandular atrophy in this disease is a manifestation of weak vital energy ; while inflammatory lesions such as congestion, edema, and erosion are considered by traditional Chinese medicine to be manifestations of evil factors such as dampness, heat, cold, blood stasis, water retention, qi stagnation, and food stagnation. Based on this understanding, when suppressing inflammation of the gastric mucosa, it is necessary to apply methods of removing dampness, clearing heat, removing blood stasis, dispersing water, promoting qi and digesting food according to the specific condition of the disease.

Use herbs such as scutellaria, coptis, ginger, summer-rooted angelica, bitter orange, and peony root, increase or decrease the dosage, and treat the disease according to the symptoms. There are not many drugs, but each drug has multiple effects and can treat all kinds of diseases. No matter what the cause of gastric mucosal inflammation is, it can produce a good inhibitory effect. If you add more medicinal ingredients according to the severity of the evil spirit, it can be more soothing.

Promoting gland regeneration and promoting the growth and regeneration of gastric mucosa and glands is the fundamental treatment for chronic atrophic gastritis. Inhibiting gastric mucosal inflammation can eliminate the causes of glandular atrophy and prevent further development of the lesion, but it is difficult to regenerate the atrophied glands and promote glandular hyperplasia. Glandular atrophy is a manifestation of weak vital energy and should be treated with methods to strengthen the vital energy. Prescriptions such as Sijun, Lizhong, Yiwei, Guipi, Huangqi Jianzhong, etc. can be selected according to symptoms. In clinical practice, I am accustomed to using Astragalus, Codonopsis, Licorice, Atractylodes, Angelica, Rehmannia, etc. According to the author's experience and knowledge, the prescription composed of Astragalus, Codonopsis, Atractylodes, Licorice, Angelica, Rehmannia and other medicines has a non-specific effect of promoting tissue regeneration. It has growth-promoting and regeneration activity for all tissue cells of the body, including skin, muscles, nerves, bones, mucous membranes, and blood cells.
