Meditation is a kind of exercise that has certain benefits to the body. This kind of exercise can maintain health and relax, but many situations will occur after meditation, which are specifically manifested in the body. Our body will undergo many changes, but many people don’t know the specific changes. Most of these changes are harmful to our human body. So what is the body’s reaction after meditation? The first type of phenomenon is pain, numbness, soreness and itching. Except for heartache and headache, which are symptoms of illness, other pains such as leg pain, back pain and stomach pain are normal phenomena. Numbness is usually in the legs and is not dangerous. There are two types of numbness: one is that when you stand up, you feel that your legs are not your own. Just shake your legs and walk slowly for a few steps and you will feel better. The other is numbness that feels like a piece of skin on your leg is not your own when you pinch it. Don't be nervous, it will naturally get better after a while. The soreness is usually in the waist or joints, and it can be relieved by massaging with your hands after sitting up. Why do we need to cover our legs with a large towel when meditating? It is to avoid cold and prevent pain. There are two types of itching. One is skin itching, which is caused by a kind of turbid air or oil dirt in the body. When it is discharged through the skin pores, you will feel itchy. The other is bone itching, which occurs due to the blockage of Qi in the meridians. By adjusting the flow of Qi and meridians during meditation, you will feel a sense of nourishment. It's best to leave it alone. The second type of phenomenon is warm and hot, cool and cold. If you have fever and chills, you are sick and cannot meditate. You need to see a doctor for treatment. A sense of coolness or warmth is good. The third type of phenomenon is aerodynamic. There are two types of movement that occur during meditation: air movement and spiritual movement. There are two types of aerodynamics: irregular earthquakes and regular earthquakes. Irregular ground movements occur every time you meditate, but the parts and ways of movement are not fixed. Sometimes your hands shake, sometimes your legs jump, and sometimes your head shakes. Regular earthquakes occur when a fixed part of the body moves every time you meditate. If you experience gas in your stomach while meditating, you can learn how to expel the gas through the soles of your feet, anus, or by burping. No matter where the qi movement occurs in the body, you should not focus on the in and out breath through the nostrils or lower abdomen, but on the Yongquan point on the soles of the feet. After paying attention for a period of time, the qi movement phenomenon will disappear. Some people cannot continue to meditate because they move too much, so they stop meditating temporarily. |
