Can I exercise if I have uterine cancer?

Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy. The peak age for carcinoma in situ is 30 to 35 years old, and for invasive cancer is 45 to 55 years old. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer has tended to be younger. The widespread use of cervical cytology screening in recent decades has enabled early detection and treatment of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions, and the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer have decreased significantly.

Studies show that if women exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and drink coffee, their risk of cervical cancer will be reduced.

"Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women in the UK, but at least half of it could be prevented by maintaining a healthy weight and getting regular exercise," said the researchers. "If women exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and maintain a healthy weight, they can significantly reduce their risk of cervical cancer."

The World Cancer Research Fund found that women who drink coffee every day have a lower risk of cervical cancer. However, some experts believe that there is insufficient evidence to recommend drinking coffee to fight cervical cancer.

The relationship between cervical cancer and diet, exercise and body weight was studied. After studying 3,700 female cervical cancer patients, it was found that if women can exercise for 38 minutes a day and maintain a healthy weight, they can effectively prevent cervical cancer.

The study also found that in the UK, about 56% of women exercised for at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week, while only 39% maintained a healthy weight.

Researchers point out that as long as women engage in regular exercise and maintain a proper weight, they can significantly reduce their risk of uterine cancer and improve their overall health.
