The vision requirements for the military service physical examination are: the naked eye vision of each eye is less than 4.5 (0.3), the corrected vision is less than 4.9 (0.8), and the refractive power is above ±6.00DS equivalent spherical lens, which is unqualified. The naked eye distance vision of each eye is above 4.6 (0.4), the corrected vision is above 4.9 (0.8), the refractive power is below ±6.00DS equivalent spherical lens, and the candidates are qualified in command, surface ship, submarine, armor, surveying and mapping, and radar.

Among them, those who have undergone excimer laser surgery for more than half a year and have no complications, except for submarine and airborne majors, are qualified. The junior high school education requires the right eye to be 4.9 and the left eye to be 4.8. The high school education requires the right eye to be 4.7 and the left eye not less than 4.5. The college education requires the right eye to be 4.6 and the left eye to be 4.5 to be qualified. In addition, there are also regulations on color vision disorders, eye diseases, strabismus and amblyopia.

If the conscripts' vision does not meet the standard, they should undergo myopia surgery as early as possible.
