The difference between grain wine and blended wine

Everyone likes to drink, but don't buy cheaper wine just because it's affordable. Some wine is not real grain wine, but blended wine. Alcohol is added to this kind of wine, which can be harmful to the body. There is a big difference between grain wine and blended wine, and you can carefully understand some judgment methods.

First of all, let me correct something. "Blending" is the process of mixing any type of wine. It is the abbreviation of "blending and flavoring", but now it has been "alienated" into "alcohol-blended wine". So, how do you distinguish between pure grain wine and alcohol wine? Here are some simpler methods.

1. Open the bottle and smell it. Open a bottle of liquor and smell it the moment you open it. If it is pure grain wine, its aroma will not be very strong, but you can smell a hint of grain fermentation, which is light and lasting. And the alcoholic wine is on. The fragrance of the bottle is very strong in an instant. This is because the fragrance inside will flow to the top after being shaken during transportation. But after a while, the smell will gradually fade, and you will definitely not smell the smell of fermented grains in alcoholic liquor, only the fragrance.

2. Hand rubbing method. Pour a little white wine on the palm of your hand, rub it until your palm becomes warm and the alcohol evaporates. If you smell the palm of your hand at this time, you will find that the pure grain wine still has a lingering fragrance, and also has a smell of dregs, which is the characteristic of pure grain wine. Alcoholic liquor has a very light taste, or even no taste at all. This is a qualified alcoholic liquor. If you smell a pungent smell, then this wine is low-quality alcohol and should never be drunk.

3. An empty cup retains its fragrance. After drinking, don’t rush to wash the wine glass. Leave it for a while, about half an hour, and then smell the glass. The pure grain wine still has the aroma, and the fermented aroma of the grain is very obvious. Even after it has been left overnight, you can still smell the aroma the next day. But if it is alcoholic wine, then there will be basically no taste, because alcoholic wine contains flavors that evaporate very quickly.

4. Add water to the liquor. After a while, we will find that the pure grain liquor begins to become a little turbid. This is because some aldehydes, acids, fats and other flavor substances in pure grain wine are insoluble in water and look like flocs. Adding water to alcoholic liquor does not change anything.
