After getting a nose ring, the cow should be allowed to rest for 1-2 days, and then the nose rope should be pulled frequently to lead the cow to a place with green grass for grazing, so that the cow can know the benefits of wearing a nose ring (having grass to eat), and gradually let the cow do some small farm work to train it to be docile. In the past, nose rings were made of iron, then copper, and now many places prefer stainless steel.Nose rings are usually worn when the cattle are one year old (usually between 10 and 12 months old).
