A tumor in the stomach?

When the tumor ruptures or causes perforation of the stomach wall, complications such as massive bleeding and peritonitis may occur.

What causes gastric tumors ?

The World Health Organization has classified Helicobacter pylori as a primary carcinogen for human gastric tumors. Differences in HP bacterial types may lead to differences in the occurrence of gastric tumors. In 1994, Forman of the United Kingdom believed that 35% of gastric cancer cases in developed countries and 85% of gastric cancer cases in developing countries were related to HP infection. Some scholars believe that HP infection may be a synergistic carcinogenic factor for gastric tumors.

2. Genetic factors: Most retrospective survey materials believe that the role of genetic factors in the etiology of gastric tumors is relatively certain, and there is an obvious tendency for familial clustering. It is generally believed that the incidence of gastric cancer in relatives of gastric cancer patients is 4 times higher than that in the control group.
