Can facial cleanser whiten your skin?

As we all know, the skin of us Chinese is actually yellowish. But now many people want to have fair skin and will use a lot of whitening skin care products. Whitening facial cleansers are especially popular among many girls. So, can facial cleanser really whiten your skin? In fact, the answer is no. The biggest function of facial cleanser is to clean the skin on the face.

First of all, we need to understand the effects of facial cleansers. The most basic effect is cleaning. In addition to cleaning, some facial cleansers on the market can also control oil, exfoliate, remove acne and blackheads. These are because these functionalities are added to facial cleansers. However, when it comes to whitening, it is not so easy. Facial cleansers stay on the face for a short time and then have to be rinsed with water. No nutrients enter the skin base, so it is difficult to achieve the purpose of whitening. Therefore, it is almost impossible to achieve the effect of whitening with facial cleansers alone.

Some people will say, "My friend so-and-so used a very good facial cleanser and his skin became much whiter." Then I would advise you to quickly tell your friend to stop using it. Why? As I just said, facial cleansers are unlikely to achieve the purpose of whitening. If his skin really became whiter by using facial cleansers, it only means that hormone ingredients were added to the facial cleanser he used.

No matter what product it is, if hormones are added to it, it will quickly achieve the expected good results. Only hormones can be so magical! You may feel that it is very effective at the beginning, but over time, once you stop using the product, your skin will become red, itchy, and have red bloodshot eyes. This will turn your face into a hormone-induced skin condition, which is not good. Therefore, when you encounter a product that works particularly well, you must be cautious.

Some facial cleansers can indeed make your skin whiter after washing, but that is false. For example, facial cleansers with exfoliating effects may slightly whiten your skin if used for a long time. That is because we have removed the dead skin cells on our skin, and there is no residual aging cuticles and garbage on the surface of the skin, so it naturally looks whiter. However, it is only temporary and will not change our original skin color. Whitening should be done slowly and long-term persistence will be effective.
