Tips for eye pain from staying up late

Nowadays, more and more people like to stay up late, not to work but to play with their mobile phones. After a busy day, I finally have some time to play. Even if I just hold my phone and do nothing, I feel satisfied. However, staying up late for a long time will not only cause dark circles under the eyes, but also cause eye pain. At this time, you can use some massage techniques to relieve fatigue and pain. The main thing is to go to bed early and don’t stay up late. Why should you stay up late? Read some tips to treat eye pain.

I have severe stinging pain in my left eye, and it hurts whenever I move my eye. Then massage the painful spots on the second and third toes of both feet. Ignore the non-painful spots. Roll your eyes while massaging. You will see the effects in a quarter of an hour, and you will be basically fine in an hour. Don’t be afraid of pain in your toes, just clear them until the pain goes away.

For neurological eyestrain and eye congestion, you should rest immediately and then do the following exercises to eliminate eye fatigue.

Apply warm water with a cloth, close your eyes, and apply it on your eyes to provide great relief.

1. Eyeball pressing method

Close your eyes and gently press your eyeballs with the tips of your index, middle, and ring fingers, or you can rotate and rub them gently. Do not continue for too long or press too hard, stop after about 20 seconds.

2. Forehead pressing method

Use three fingers on each hand to rub from the center of the forehead toward the left and right temples, then press hard on the temples, using your fingertips to apply force. This will give you a comfortable feeling under your eyes. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

3. Press between eyebrows

Place the tip of your thumb on the depression below the base of your eyebrows and press or rotate gently. Repeat 3 times. Look into the distance, move your eyeballs to the right - up - left - down, and do not shake your head. In addition, blinking hard and closing your eyes can also eliminate eye fatigue.

These methods can eliminate eye fatigue, give the eyes a full rest, stimulate the aging eye muscles, and restore vitality. It would be better if the above-mentioned exercise methods could be combined with eye hygiene and a balanced diet.

How to relieve sore eyes

1. Press the eyeball

Use the tip of your middle finger to gently press the eyeball three times, 20 seconds each time, until you feel a sore and swollen feeling.

2. Push the eyelids

Apply massage cream around the eyes, and use the middle finger and ring finger (middle finger on the upper eyelid, ring finger on the lower eyelid) to gently push from the inner canthus to the outer canthus for 10 consecutive times.

3. Press the acupoints on the eye sockets

Use the tip of your thumb to press and rub the acupoints on the eye sockets. For example, press the Zanzhu point (the depression on the inner edge of the eyebrow) for 1 second every 30 seconds, press the Tongziliao point (next to the outer canthus of the eye, at the outer edge of the eye socket) for 1 second every two or three minutes, and press the Qiuhou point (the junction of the outer 1/4 and inner 3/4 of the lower edge of the eye socket) for 1 second every one minute. These three acupoints all have the effect of improving eyesight and can quickly relieve eye fatigue.

4. Blink

Normally, blinking less than 5 times per minute will cause dry eyes. When a person works in front of a computer, he or she blinks only one-third of the time as usual, which reduces the secretion of lubricants and enzymes in the eyes. You should blink more often and give your eyes a rest at least once every hour. Blink more often to ensure that the "tear film" can disperse moisture to the cornea.

5. Take more vitamins

People who work on computers for a long time should eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and increase their intake of vitamins A, B1, C, and E. To prevent dry cornea, dry eyes, decreased vision, and even night blindness, computer operators should eat more foods rich in vitamin A, such as soy products, fish, milk, walnuts, green vegetables, cabbage, water spinach, tomatoes and fresh fruits. Vitamin C can effectively inhibit cell oxidation.

6. Eye Breathing and Concentration Method

Choose a place with fresh air, sit or stand, relax your whole body, look straight ahead, slowly inhale enough air, open your eyes wide, pause for a moment, then slowly exhale, slowly close your eyes, do this 9 times in a row.
