How to cool down a room quickly

Summer is here, and the temperature is particularly high both indoors and outdoors. Especially when sitting indoors, we always hope that the room can be cooler. We can collect some water from the faucet in a basin. The water just collected is relatively cool. Then we can sprinkle it on the ground little by little. The evaporation of the water can absorb the heat in the house. At the same time, we can also turn on the fan to accelerate the evaporation of the water. Or when you turn on the fan, you can put some ice cubes near the fan to lower the temperature in the room. Here are some specific cooling tips:

①The first way to cool down is when the temperature is high during the day, whether you are at home or not. It's best to close the windows and draw the curtains. This will block the entry of heat and prevent the formation of a greenhouse, and can also effectively insulate, making the indoor temperature 3 to 5 degrees Celsius lower than the outdoor temperature.

② Cooling down: The second method is to cool down the pulse points. Let cool water flow over your wrists for about one minute to lower the blood temperature. The interval should be at least one hour. Spraying water on your temples or cheeks can have a similar effect.

③The third way to cool down is to try not to wear chemical fiber clothing, as cotton and linen clothes can absorb moisture from the skin. When wearing it, do not tuck your shirt into your trousers to promote air circulation and make you feel more comfortable.

④The fourth trick to cool down is to replenish water in time, preferably drink hot tea. Because drinking hot tea can open sweat pores, dilate sweat glands, promote sweat secretion, and dissipate heat. Drink more boiled water and less beverages. Beverages contain more saccharin and electrolytes. Drinking too much will cause adverse stimulation to the gastrointestinal tract and affect digestion and appetite.

⑤The fifth method to cool down is to avoid “rapid cooling” after being heated. When people come back from outside, they like to turn on the fan or take a cold shower immediately, but this is wrong. Because it will cause the pores all over the body to close quickly, making it difficult for the body's heat to dissipate. It will also cause insufficient blood supply to the brain due to the rapid contraction of blood vessels in the brain, making people dizzy.

⑥The sixth tip for preventing heatstroke is not to drink excessively when you are thirsty. After sweating a lot during work and exercise, the human body loses too much salt. If salt is not replenished in time, the ratio of water and salt in the body will be seriously unbalanced, leading to metabolic disorders.

⑦The seventh tip for preventing heatstroke: The solar shortwave radiation is strongest around 10:00-15:00, so you should try to avoid going out during this time. If you have to go out, you should apply some sunscreen and skin care products, and it is better to wear light-colored clothes in summer.

⑧The eighth tip to prevent heatstroke: The temperature difference between indoor and outdoor spaces should not be too great due to air conditioning. The temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air-conditioned rooms should not exceed 5 degrees. Even in hot weather, the indoor temperature of air-conditioned rooms should not drop below 24 degrees.

⑨The ninth tip for preventing heatstroke: Don’t take naps too long. A proper nap in the summer can prevent heatstroke and reduce temperature, but be careful not to sleep for too long. The relative reduction in blood flow to the brain will slow down the metabolic process, so you will feel uncomfortable or more sleepy after waking up.
