Ammonium laureth sulfate is a white or light yellow gel-like paste, or a colorless or light yellow liquid. It has a wide range of uses and is often used in daily chemical, textile, leather and other industries. It is often used for washing, wetting, diffusion and other effects. For example, it is often used as a cleaning agent, remover, laundry detergent, and is used in the production of shampoo and laundry cream. Ammonium lauryl polyether sulfate is widely used in daily chemical, textile, petroleum, leather, printing and dyeing and other industries. Used for washing, emulsifying, wetting, dyeing, diffusion, etc. It has excellent biodegradability and low temperature performance, a high content of active matter, and is not affected by water hardness. Especially as a detergent raw material, it is not only suitable for various powdered detergent products, but also suitable for various detergents, such as laundry creams (agents) of various models and uses, detergents, dry cleaning agents, cleaning agents, removers, laundry creams, shampoos (lotions) and various shampoos, etc. Production method The preparation of this product includes five process steps: condensation of lauryl alcohol and ethylene oxide, sulfation of the condensation product, neutralization, pressure filtration to remove residues, and distillation and dealcoholization of the filtrate. 452 kg of lauryl alcohol (hydroxyl value 275-320) was put into the reactor, and then 5 kg of potassium hydroxide was put into the reduction tank, and a 50% aqueous solution was prepared and then put into the reactor. Evacuate the chamber and control the vacuum degree at 13.3 kPa. Gradually increase the temperature to about 120°C for dehydration. After dehydration is completed, nitrogen is used to replace the air. After all the air is driven out, the temperature is raised to 140-150°C, stirring is started, and 324 kg of ethylene oxide is introduced at 3 kPa. Then gradually lower the kettle temperature to about 5°C. Sulfuric acid was added for acidification reaction, and after 1 hour, sodium hydroxide and alcohol solution were used for neutralization. After neutralization, the residue is removed by filtration, and the filtrate is dealcoholized to obtain the finished product. Is there any shampoo that does not contain sodium laureth sulfate? Sodium laureth sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfate are twins with similar properties. (AES and AESA will be used below as abbreviations respectively). They are the main ingredients of shampoo, and 99.995% of the shampoos on the market contain these two as their main ingredients. So it is true that there are shampoos that do not contain AES, but they will definitely contain AESA. This is a question where you have to choose one of the two. There are many facial cleansers that do not contain AES. Generally, mid-to-high-end facial cleansers rarely contain AES because AES is relatively low-end and using it to make facial cleansers is relatively low-end. |
