Note:

Acupoint selection and comparison method:

Main acupoint

Point location: In the middle of the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the 7th thoracic vertebra.

Efficacy: Promote blood circulation and unclog meridians, nourish blood and nourish blood, regulate qi and relieve chest tightness.

Point location: On the neck, on the anterior midline, in the center of the suprasternal fossa.

Efficacy: Expand chest and regulate qi, clear airways, reduce phlegm and clear lungs.

Acupoint location: In the upper abdomen, on the anterior midline, 4 inches above the navel.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and stomach, replenishes the middle and calms the mind.

Point location: On the palm side of the forearm, on the line connecting Quze and Daling, 2 inches above the transverse wrist crease, between the palmaris longus tendon and the radial flexor carpi tendon.

Efficacy: Soothes the mind, regulates qi and relieves pain.

Point location: On the front and outer side of the calf, about 3 inches (4 horizontal fingers) below the knee pit (knee pit), about 1 horizontal finger away from the outer side of the tibia.

Efficacy: Drying out spleen dampness, generating stomach qi.

Early knowledge about moxibustion

✓ Keep warm during moxibustion to avoid the moxibustion area getting cold;

✓ Drink a cup of warm water before and after moxibustion to help the excretory organs expel toxins from the body;

✓ Do not wash your hands with cold water within half an hour after moxibustion, and do not take a bath within 2 hours;

✓ Do not eat cold drinks, fruits and seafood after moxibustion;

✓ Do not do moxibustion one hour after a meal; do not do moxibustion during menstruation;

✓ Do not use moxibustion when you are too hungry, too full, drunk, very scared, very angry, or very thirsty;

✓ If there is any moxa left after moxibustion, it should be completely extinguished with an extinguisher or placed in a jar with a tightly covered lid;
