Some people's right wrist is normal at ordinary times, but it hurts when they exert force. There are many reasons for right wrist pain, it may be arthritis, it may be caused by wind and cold, and sometimes it is caused by muscle ligament pain. In fact, no matter what causes the wrist pain, you should go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and treat the symptoms. Although wrist pain is not a serious illness, it should also be taken seriously. What are the common symptoms of arthritis? (1) Finger osteoarthritis One or more fingers may become red, swollen, and painful, with bone enlargement at the distal joints of the fingers and possibly at the proximal finger joints. It is multiple, more common in middle-aged women, mainly affecting the distal interphalangeal joints; it is rare in men. There is a family genetic tendency. Symptoms of osteoarthritis in women's fingers include stiffness and pain in the finger joints in the morning, which improves after activity, and then symmetrical ridges gradually develop into nodules, and finally finger deformities occur, and sometimes small cysts are formed. The familial tendency is very obvious. (2) Knee arthritis It can be unilateral or bilateral, and is more common in women who are often overweight. Symptoms after middle age: Feeling soreness and discomfort in the knees when sitting, standing or walking, the symptoms disappear after walking for a while, this is an early symptom. As the disease progresses, activity no longer relieves the pain, and going up and down stairs or squatting or standing up from a sitting position becomes somewhat difficult, requiring support from the hands on the knees. If your knee joint is a little swollen or severely swollen after walking a lot, you can extract some yellowish fluid. Due to the lesions and thickening of the synovium and joint capsule, there may be noise during movement. If loose bodies are formed in the joints, it may affect joint movement and may cause "joint locking" from time to time. Eventually, knee deformities may occur, such as knee flexion contracture, bow legs or X-legs, and the patient may even need to use crutches to walk. (3) Osteoarthritis of the foot Pain at the base of the big toe when shoes are too tight or when wearing high heels; bone enlargement (protruding tuberosity) and toe bursitis occur. (4) Osteoarthritis of the spine Pain may occur in the neck and lower back; pain may travel to the arms and legs; and bone spurs, which form when bone grows outward around joints, may irritate the spinal nerves and cause numbness and tingling in the affected body parts. (5) Osteoarthritis of the hip joint Pain occurs in the groin, buttocks, or outer thigh. |
