Diarrhea green diarrhea

Diarrhea green diarrhea

Many women like to eat some diarrhea-inducing foods when they are losing weight, so as to help themselves lose weight. However, this approach is incorrect. Long-term diarrhea can cause intestinal diseases. Moreover, green diarrhea is not normal. These women should pay attention to this when losing weight. So what is the cause of green diarrhea? There are several reasons for it. Let’s introduce it in detail below.

There are several possibilities for green stools in adults: food color, medicine color, and cold gastrointestinal tract. If it is the latter, it will cause weak spleen and stomach and indigestion in the long run.

Green stool often appears watery or pasty, has a sour smell, and is foamy. It is often seen in diseases such as indigestion and intestinal dysfunction. If the green stool is mixed with pus, it is a sign of acute enteritis or bacillary dysentery. Patients who have undergone major abdominal surgery or received extensive antibiotic treatment, if they suddenly have green watery stools with a fishy odor and grayish-white flaky, translucent, egg-white pseudomembranes, may have Staphylococcus aureus enteritis. In addition, eating a lot of foods containing chlorophyll or excessive acidity in the intestines can also turn the stool green.

Babies have a limited digestive capacity. If they eat more food than they can handle, they will suffer from diarrhea. Due to differences in eating habits, health conditions and individual differences, the nutrients (mainly fat) contained in some mothers' breast milk exceed the baby's needs, which will cause diarrhea in the baby, which is usually called "physiological diarrhea." If the baby has no other symptoms except increased frequency of bowel movements, has a good appetite, does not vomit, and his growth and development are not affected, then it is not caused by any disease. After adding complementary foods, the bowel movements will gradually return to normal, and the mother does not need to worry too much. Babies with "physiological diarrhea" do not need medication, and generally the effect will be achieved by changing the baby's diet to milk or other dairy products.
