Symptoms of advanced brain cancer

Symptoms of advanced brain cancer

As the intracranial pressure of patients with advanced brain tumors increases, the tumor grows rapidly, gradually causing headaches, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, and in severe cases leading to irregular breathing, coma, impaired consciousness, loss of vision, hemiplegia and other symptoms, and ultimately death. Near the brainstem, there will be manifestations of brainstem pressure: limb paralysis, ocular nerve paralysis, changes in pupil size, limited eye movement, choking on drinking water, inability to swallow, etc. This is caused by high intracranial pressure and can be treated with mannitol.

Can early-stage brain cancer be cured?

Brain cancer can be cured in the early stage. Patients should not worry too much and actively cooperate with the hospital for surgical resection. Then, the disease can be controlled through radiotherapy and chemotherapy. There is hope for cure. Do not give up treatment. Early treatment can greatly reduce the difficulty of cure. Patients should maintain a good attitude and adjust their work, rest and diet. Malignant tumors of brain tissue are not easy to detect in the early stage. If extended resection can be detected in the early stage, and then combined with some radiotherapy and chemotherapy, early brain malignant tumors are expected to be cured, but there is no guarantee that these diseases will be cured. The pathological results of brain malignant tumors after tumor surgery are closely related to early cure.
