How can I change the physical condition that causes double eyelid swelling to go away slowly?

Double eyelids are a very popular eye shape in life. Many people who love beauty are looking for ways to change their single eyelids. Among them, double eyelid surgery is a very effective method. This method can turn your single eyelids into double eyelids in a short period of time. However, the eyelids will swell during the recovery process, and the process of reducing the swelling is relatively long, which is related to the person's physique. Let’s take a look at how to change the physical condition that causes slow swelling of double eyelids.

1. Take oral antibiotics for 3 days, choose either amoxicillin or lijunza.

2. Remove the gauze on the wound by yourself 24 hours after the operation. If the blood stains on the gauze stick to the wound and are difficult to remove, use a sterile cotton swab dipped in saline (available in pharmacies and clinics), moisten the gauze on the wound and then remove it!

3. Open your eyes more and use them more on the day after the operation, which will be conducive to the formation of double eyelids. This is very important. There are also some requirements for opening your eyes. It is not enough to just be able to see things, but you should look straight ahead or try to look upwards. This way, the part where the eyelids are cut can form deeper folds, forming beautiful and obvious double eyelids. The double eyelids formed by opening the eyes incorrectly will be shallow and ugly. Let me teach you a little trick. After the operation, when you go home and watch TV, you might as well sit on the ground. This way, the TV will be higher. When watching TV, try not to raise your head but look up with your eyes wide open.

4. Apply ice for three days after the operation. This is very important. Apply ice as much as possible during the three days after the operation. Take out the ice pack and apply ice whenever you have time. You can prepare two ice packs and apply them alternately, and put the ice packs in the refrigerator. Such ice packs have a certain degree of coldness and can fit the eyes well (you must keep your eyes open when applying ice, don't be lazy).

5. Keep the surgical wound clean and dry, which means that the eyes cannot come into contact with water before the stitches are removed, so when applying ice, wrap the ice bag with a thin towel, plastic wrap or gauze.

6. Change the dressing 3 days after the operation, remove the sutures on the canthus on 5 days, and remove the double eyelid sutures on 7 days. Especially the sutures at the corners of the eyes must be removed on time, as delay in removing them may cause scars. For those who have had canthoplasty, you should use anti-scar drugs to inhibit scar proliferation one week after the stitches are removed!
