What is the cause of spinal pain

What is the cause of spinal pain

Almost everyone has experienced spinal pain, especially for those who do manual labor. During the day, they need to expend a lot of physical strength and carry heavy objects, which is most likely to cause spinal injury. When they wake up the next morning, they will have spinal pain. Over time, it is likely to cause spondylitis. So what is the reason for spinal pain?

What causes spinal pain?

Many people who have spinal pain think that they are overworked recently. In fact, this is not the case for some people. It may be caused by certain diseases. So don’t simply think that spinal pain is caused by being too tired.

Caused by cervical spondylosis

If there is a problem with your cervical spine, it will definitely cause you spinal pain, so be careful to prevent the occurrence of cervical spondylosis. Once discovered, you must adjust it in time, otherwise, it will only aggravate your spinal pain and make your cervical spine worse day by day.

1. Reasons

(1) The posterior rami of the spinal nerves from the fourth, fifth, and sixth cervical vertebrae extend toward the back and innervate the skin and muscles of the upper back.

(2) When degenerative changes occur in the cervical spine, if the posterior branches of the spinal nerves of the fourth, fifth, and sixth cervical vertebrae are stretched, back pain will occur.

2. Symptoms

Neck and back pain, upper limb weakness, numbness of fingers, dizziness, nausea, and even blurred vision and difficulty swallowing are all symptoms of cervical spondylosis.

Caused by neck sprain and stiff neck

Another reason is to see if you have a stiff neck when sleeping, or if your neck is sprained due to other reasons. These two can also cause pain in your spine, so you should pay attention to your daily sleep and the height of the pillow.

1. Reasons

Due to improper neck movement or bad sleeping position, local muscles are sprained and the pain involves the back muscles. The medical history is short, and the tenderness point is fixed and located at the site of muscle injury.

2. Symptoms

It is more common in the upper inner part of the scapula and is accompanied by muscle spasm. Cord-like spasmodic muscle bundles with obvious tenderness can be felt, and the movement of the neck and back is obviously limited.
