What does the early stage of ear hole hyperplasia look like

There are a wide variety of earrings on the market, and girls who love beauty like to pierce their ears, and more than one. After getting their ears pierced, many girls will have a small bump when they gently press the ear hole. Some will also protrude, and occasionally it will hurt. If not properly cared for, infection will occur. Many girls are worried about ear piercing hyperplasia, so what is the early stage of ear piercing hyperplasia like? How to prevent and treat ear piercing hyperplasia?

1. Scar hyperplasia stage

Hypertrophic scars often occur in traumas where the depth of injury only reaches the dermis. The only difference in pathological tissue between hypertrophic scars and normal scars is the thickening of collagen fibers deep in the scar, which appear to be arranged irregularly, wavy, or tangled into ropes. The anabolism of collagen continues abnormally, exceeding the rate of catabolism, forming a large amount of collagen fibers over a considerable period of time. Its common cause is related to the presence of certain local or systemic inducing factors.

2. Performance

1. Hypertrophic scars are characterized by protruding from the surface, irregular shape, unevenness, redness and congestion, firm texture, burning pain and itching.

2. Hypertrophic scars are aggravated by high ambient temperature, emotional excitement, or eating spicy foods. Hypertrophic scars often last for several months or years before gradually undergoing degenerative changes.

3. The characteristics of this scar are:

In the early stage, the local area swells, hardens and becomes congested. The tissue structure is that the surface layer is covered by a layer of atrophic epithelial cells, the middle layer is vascular dilation and inflammatory cell infiltration, and the bottom layer is less collagen fibers and a large amount of connective tissue hyperplasia. This type of scar is higher than the surface of the skin. In the early stages, the local area becomes thickened and hardened, and the capillaries are congested and appear red or dark red. The base of the scar is generally not adhered to the deep tissue, can be pushed, and has little contractility. Most of them will not cause serious functional impairment, but they often affect the beauty of the face and exposed areas, so treatment is often necessary.

The scar is significantly higher than the surrounding normal skin and is locally thickened and hardened. In the early stage, due to capillary congestion, the surface of the scar appears red, flushed or purple. During this stage, itching and pain are the main symptoms, and in severe cases, scratching may cause surface ulcers. After a considerable period of time, the congestion will be reduced, the surface color will fade, the scar will gradually soften and become flat, and the itching and pain will be reduced and eventually disappear. The length of this proliferative period varies from person to person and from site of lesion to site. Generally speaking, the proliferation period is longer in children and young adults, while it is shorter in the elderly over 50 years old; the proliferation period of scars occurring in areas with rich blood supply, such as the face, is longer, while the proliferation period of scars occurring in areas with poor blood supply, such as the extremities and anterior tibial area, is shorter. Although hypertrophic scars can be more than 2 cm thick, they are not tightly adhered to deep tissues and can be pushed, and generally have a clear boundary with the surrounding normal skin. Hypertrophic scars are less contractile than contracture scars. Therefore, hypertrophic scars occurring in non-functional parts generally do not cause serious functional impairment, while large hypertrophic scars in joints, due to their thick and hard splinting effect, hinder joint movement and cause functional impairment. Hypertrophic scars located on the flexion surface of the joint may shrink significantly in the late stage, resulting in obvious functional disorders such as jaw-neck adhesion.

3. Treatment Methods

Pure physics of traditional Chinese medicine: Use the pure physics method of traditional Chinese medicine to eliminate the tissue inside the scar, soften the scar tissue and make it disappear, so as to achieve the effect of natural repair, adjust the blood circulation, speed up the metabolism and promote the repair of cell tissue.

Apply scar patches or scar cream: The main ingredients of scar patches and scar cream are both silicone, but the shapes of the products are different. They are usually used one week after the stitches are removed from the wound to prevent the formation or proliferation of scars. Using scar patches can also have the effect of pressure treatment, but the disadvantage is that it is not very effective in inhibiting scar proliferation.
