For keratitis problems, treatment measures must be taken promptly. In addition to conventional treatment, conditioning in daily life is also very important, especially paying attention to diet. So what foods are good for keratitis?

1. Vitamin C Foods

We should eat more foods rich in vitamin C in our diet, because vitamin C can protect the lens of our eyes. If we lack vitamin C, the lens of our eyes will become overly turbid and cause cataracts. Foods high in vitamin C, including some green peppers and cucumbers, cauliflower and bok choy, as well as raw pears and oranges, are very high in vitamin C. You should also eat more lean meat and poultry, as well as fish and dairy products, which are rich in protein.

2. Vitamin A Foods

Foods containing vitamin A are very good for the eyes. When you suffer from keratitis, you will lack vitamin A. The eyes' ability to adapt to the surrounding environment will be weakened to a certain extent. In severe cases, it will even cause night blindness. Therefore, we should eat more foods rich in vitamin A. Patients with keratitis should eat more lean meat and animal offal in their diet, because the main ingredient in them is vitamin A. If the body lacks vitamin A, our eyes will be greatly affected, and it will also cause night blindness.
