How to use chestnut claws

When frying chestnuts, they will become very hot. If people try to take the chestnuts out with their hands, their hands will be burned. Therefore, when people take out the fried chestnuts, they must rely on the chestnut claws, so that they can take out the hot chestnuts without burning their hands. Many people know that they should use the chestnut claws to take out chestnuts, but they don’t know how to use the chestnut claws specifically. Next, I will teach you how to use the chestnut claws.

Step 1: Take a chestnut and chestnut claw and align the serrated side with the smooth side of the chestnut.

Step 2: Use your thumb to press the toothed end of the chestnut claw to create a dent on the chestnut surface.

Step 3: Use the claws of a wood cutter to make a groove along the concave point.

Step 4: Press hard on both ends of the groove with your index finger and thumb to crack the chestnut shell.

Step 5: Remove the chestnut shells

Step 6: Use the other end of the claw to dig out the whole chestnut kernel. A whole chestnut kernel will come out.

Precautions

The skin of cold chestnuts is hard, so do not use your fingernails to peel them to avoid hurting your nails.

Step 1: Let me first introduce this chestnut claw. Its shape is somewhat like a small shovel. One end is arc-shaped, which is mainly used to dig out chestnut meat, and the other end has a small tooth saw, which is used to peel chestnut skin.

The second step is to use the toothed saw end of the chestnut claw to press a tooth mark on the surface of the chestnut, which is equivalent to opening a small hole in the chestnut, making it easier to peel.

Step 3: Use your thumb to press on the chestnut that has been opened by the claws, thus forming a crack on the surface of the chestnut.

Step 4: Press both ends of the chestnut with your index finger and thumb, and squeeze hard. The chestnut shell will break along the previous crack.

Step 5: Remove the chestnut shell along the way, and try not to use your fingernails to avoid hurting it. Then peel off the second thin layer of skin inside the chestnut skin.

Step 6: At this time, the small shovel of the chestnut claw comes in handy. Use the small shovel to dig out the whole chestnut kernel and you are done.
