The order of using eye cream and eye mask

Every time when skin care is needed, people always worry about the order of using eye cream and eye mask. They can't quite judge which of these two skin care products is better to use first. It is best to use the eye mask first, and apply warm water to your eyes before using the eye mask. This way, you can prevent and treat the appearance of fat particles. And remember not to use too much to avoid overnutrition. After using the eye mask, you can apply some eye cream.

Usage order :

The relationship between eye mask and eye cream is the same as that between facial mask and facial cream. Use eye mask first and then eye cream. Eye cream needs to be used every day, but eye mask cannot. Using it too much will lead to overnutrition and cause fat particles.

Before using the eye mask, it is best to apply hot water to your eyes, and then take the eye mask out of the refrigerator. This can promote blood circulation in the eyes and facilitate the absorption of the essence on the eye mask. The eye mask should also be placed correctly, three millimeters below the eye. Just like applying facial masks, you cannot go to sleep with the eye mask on, as it will absorb moisture from your eyes over time. After applying the eye mask, if there is any essence left, you can apply it on the forehead, corners of the eyes, etc. However, the remaining essence from the mask cannot be applied to the eyes.

STEP1 After cleansing your skin in the morning and evening, use your ring finger to take a mung bean-sized amount of eye cream, and rub the two ring fingertips together to warm the eye cream so that it is easier to be absorbed by the skin.

STEP 2: Gently and evenly pat the eye cream onto the skin around the eyes in the manner of playing the piano. Apply more especially under the eye socket and from the outer corner of the eye to the temple.

STEP 3: Start from the bottom of the eye, and gently press from the Jingming point to the end of the eye. Then press gently from above the eyes, from the inside to the outside.

STEP4 Use the middle finger to press gently starting from below the eyebrows. Then press gently along the eye socket from inside to outside.

STEP5 Use the tip of your middle finger to gently press the Yingxiang points on both sides of the nose to promote blood circulation in the skin around the eyes.

STEP 6 In the weekly special care, you can also add the use of eye mask as the last step to help relieve eye pressure.

The skin around the eyes is different from other skin. It is the part of the facial skin with the thinnest stratum corneum and the least skin glands, and cannot withstand excessive nutrients. Therefore, the most fundamental purpose of eye cream is to be quickly absorbed and properly nourishing. Never use oily face cream instead of eye cream, which will add unnecessary burden to the eyes.

Don’t neglect the maintenance of crow’s feet at the corners of your eyes just because their symptoms are not as obvious.
