How to wash tea stains from clothes? Several simple methods will teach you how to clean clothes with tea stains.

White clothes are particularly light in color. If you accidentally spill tea on your clothes while drinking, tea stains will easily form. You should wash them in time. If the tea stains have already dried, you should soak the white clothes in water for a while. You can use laundry detergent or soak them in salt, and then rub them repeatedly. This will remove the tea stains on the white clothes.

How to remove tea stains from white clothes

1. Use hot water washing method, which is suitable for clothes that have been stained with tea for a short time.

Clothes contaminated by beverages such as tea and coffee can be immediately washed with 70-80% hot water to remove the stains.

Old tea stains can be washed with concentrated salt water or rubbed with a mixture of ammonia and glycerol (1:10). Ammonia is forbidden to be used on silk and wool fabrics. They can be rubbed with 10% glycerol solution, then washed with detergent and rinsed with water.

Old tea and coffee stains can be wiped with a mixture of glycerin and egg yolk, and then rinsed with clean water after it dries slightly. Or apply glycerin to the stain, sprinkle a few grains of borax on it, and soak it in boiling water. You can also wipe it with diluted ammonia, borax and warm water.

2. The most convenient and common way to remove tea stains

If the clothes are stained with tea for a short time, you can usually use salt. Sprinkle a layer of salt lightly on the tea stains. After 10 minutes, take a basin of hot water and a piece of soap, soak the clothes in water for 5 minutes and then wash them. A quicker way is to squeeze toothpaste on the toothbrush, add some laundry detergent and some water to remove the tea stains.

3. Use bleach to remove tea stains from clothes

First soak the clothes in water, then put some laundry detergent in it, then soak them for a while, preferably warm water, and add some bleach. After half an hour, rub them, then rinse them in clean water, rinse off the laundry detergent and bleach!

Oh, please note, it is best to wear gloves when washing, because bleach will hurt your hands!
