It belongs to the category of "blood tumor" in traditional Chinese medicine. Regarding the cause of this disease, traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is due to "fire and fetal poison hidden in the kidneys", which is consistent with modern medicine's view that it is mostly congenital, because the kidneys are the foundation of congenitality. The "Golden Mirror of the Medical Ancestral" also states that "tumors are retained by the qi, hence the name"; "The qi in the human body has a shape when it gathers, but leaves no trace when it disperses"; "Qi is the leader of blood. When qi moves, blood flows. When qi stagnates, blood stagnates." When fetal fire moves recklessly, blood circulation becomes abnormal, heat toxins and blood stasis combine, blocking the meridians, gradually growing larger, and accumulating over time to form a blood tumor. 2. Prescription

In the early stage, most prescriptions used the "Qinlian Ermu Decoction" from "Yi Zong Jin Jian" but removed the Ermu and added drugs that promote qi circulation, cool blood, and detoxify. The recipe is as follows: 30 grams of raw rehmannia, 15 grams of red peony root, 15 grams of angelica, 12 grams of chuanxiong, 12 grams of peony bark, 15 grams of salvia miltiorrhiza, 12 grams of madder, 6 grams of coptis chinensis, 12 grams of scutellaria baicalensis, 15 grams of orientalis leaf, 15 grams of sagittaria, 5 grams of antelope horn, 9 grams of licorice, 10 grams of schizonepeta charcoal, 10 grams of bupleurum, 12 grams of cyperus rotundus, and 12 grams of roasted pangolin. Grind the above 17 herbs into fine powder and mix well to make powder. [2]

Take twice a day, 1.5g~3.5g each time (depending on the person's physical condition). The raw rehmannia, red peony root, angelica and chuanxiong in the formula can invigorate blood circulation; moutan bark, salvia miltiorrhiza and madder root can cool blood and clear away hidden heat in the blood; scutellaria baicalensis, coptis chinensis and antelope horn can soften hard masses and clear away heat and toxins in the blood; schizonepeta charcoal can guide blood back to the meridians, and it is combined with Platycladus orientalis to stop bleeding; bupleurum and cyperus rotundus can promote qi circulation; trifoliate orange peel and roasted pangolin are good at detoxifying and penetrating the body; licorice can harmonize all the medicines, and together they can dispel hidden fire, clear away hot blood, promote the circulation of stagnant qi, detoxify and disperse nodules to eliminate tumors, which also means "to cure the disease, one must seek its root cause."

For most patients, the lumps will disappear significantly within two months after taking the medicine, and the effect is quite satisfactory. The disease can be cured in about 4 months at the fastest. However, a small amount to moderate hair loss may occur while taking this medicine, and hair will grow back after stopping the medicine.
