The phenomenon of moisture being discharged

The phenomenon of moisture being discharged

I believe everyone is familiar with dampness. Many people suffer from dampness in their bodies to varying degrees. However, when the body is very damp, it will overflow and be discharged from the body, mainly showing up on the body surface, such as: greasy hair, acne on the face, lack of energy and feeling tired, blisters, bad breath, etc. There are many ways to get rid of dampness, such as: exercise and sweating, steam sauna, drink Chinese medicine for regulation, pay attention to eating habits, etc.

Dampness can be divided into internal dampness and external dampness. External dampness is mostly related to the climate and environment. When the natural climate is abnormal, meteorological changes can become a pathogenic factor. "If the climate is humid, it rains continuously, or you live in a wetland for a long time, wade in the rain, or work in contact with water, dampness can penetrate into the body and cause illness. Internal dampness is mainly caused by dysfunction of the spleen's function of transporting and distributing body fluids, causing water and phlegm to accumulate and stagnate in the body and cause illness. Eating disorders, improper work and rest, or long-term illness and physical weakness can damage the spleen and cause dampness.

So what are the symptoms of heavy dampness?

① Unformed, loose stools or constipation; ② Dry mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, bad breath; ③ Excessive phlegm, cough, sore throat; ④ Greasy hair, hair loss, gray hair; ⑤ Obesity, easy rebound after weight loss; ⑥ Edema, sagging eye bags; ⑦ Back pain and joint pain; ⑧ Chest tightness; ⑨ Dark circles under the eyes; ⑩ Snoring while sleeping; Dizziness and lack of energy, extreme fatigue; damp genitals; damp scrotum; lack of interest in sex; spots on the face, acne, and oily face; leucorrhea with odor and itching; oily skin, eczema, etc.

Dampness is one of the six pathogenic factors: wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness and fire. There is a saying in Chinese medicine that "a thousand colds are easy to get rid of, but one dampness is difficult to get rid of." If people get caught in the rain or wade through water or stay in a humid environment in summer and autumn, moisture will invade the body through the respiratory tract, skin pores, etc., "set up camp" and "live there for a long time" in various organs and tissues.

If a person is troubled by dampness for a long time, the dampness will accumulate and turn into heat, which is what Chinese medicine calls "heat". After the body is heated, many symptoms similar to those of getting angry will appear, such as: loose stools, red and swollen eyes, erosions at the corners of the mouth, yellow urine, toothache, sore throat, dizziness, greasy hair, bitter and dry mouth, greasy hair and skin... Toxins are excess garbage in the human body. Due to improper diet, humid living environment, etc., damp heat accumulates in the body and excessive heat turns into poison.

Damp-heat toxins are called the source of all diseases and health killers by traditional Chinese medicine. So what harm does damp-heat toxins do to humans?

1. Damage to one's image The impact of damp-heat toxins on one's appearance is unimaginable. Facial problems such as acne, dull and oily complexion, large pores, eye bags, pigmentation, rosacea, and body shape changes are all caused by damp-heat toxins. Eczema and urticaria are also closely related to damp-heat toxins.

2. Mental fatigue and damp-heat toxins can make people feel tired, dizzy, and lack of energy, which will have a great impact on their work and career. When your colleagues are full of energy, but you are feeling unwell and have no intention of working, you will be left far behind by your colleagues and competitors.

3. The accumulation of dampness , heat and toxins can cause a person to have a bad mood. A person’s mood can affect the whole person, even their physical health. Long-term depression can reduce appetite and make people lose interest in doing anything, thus causing them to lose their goals in life and induce other physical diseases.
