Method 1 for quickly removing duck feathers: scalding

Just boil it until fish spots appear on the surface, which is about 75℃. Otherwise, the pores of the duck feathers will shrink when encountering 100℃ boiling water, and the duck feathers will be difficult to pull out.

After the duck is slaughtered, first soak the duck feathers in cold water, and then scald them in hot water at about 75℃. Add a small spoonful of salt to the hot water used to scald the duck. The duck feathers, especially the fine ones, can be easily removed from the duck that has been scalded with salt water.

Method 3 to quickly remove duck feathers: Add alkali

Duck feathers are difficult to remove because duck feathers contain a lot of oil, and it is difficult to soak them all in hot water. Adding alkali to the hot water can quickly remove the oil and allow the hot water to immediately soak into the duck feathers and duck skin, making it easier to remove the feathers.

Method 4 of quickly removing duck feathers: drinking wine

Ten minutes before killing the duck, feed it some white wine, using the principle that alcohol stimulates blood circulation and opens the pores. After killing the duck, immerse it in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes and then take it out. Put on rubber gloves and pluck the feathers quickly. You will find that it is easy to clean the feathers.

Method 5 for quickly removing duck feathers: Apply white wine

If the fluff on the duck's skin is not cleaned up, you can apply some white wine and light it with a lighter to clean it immediately.
