The bast fibers are radially arranged in bundles with 1-4 rows of rays, and the xylem vessels are radially arranged. The medullary cells are round with dotted wall pores on the surface and contain calcium oxalate prisms inside the cells. Leaf surface view: epidermal cells are irregular in shape, cell walls are wavy, stomata are mainly indefinite, and there are 2-7 accessory cells. The single-celled non-glandular hairs are 144-165(-578)μm long, 13-17μm in diameter, straight, with a sharp tip and a smooth surface.
