Does Livmin have side effects such as skin allergies?

Does Livmin have side effects such as skin allergies?

Most people will often experience skin allergies while taking Livmin. Skin allergies usually cause rashes, unexplained itching of the skin, urticaria on the skin surface, abdominal distension and diarrhea due to gastrointestinal discomfort, severe facial edema, and a significant increase in weight. Patients will have problems with heart or liver function. Livmin should not be used casually for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, children or the elderly.

Taking

Dosage

For oral administration, take 1 tablet at a time, twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, or as directed by a doctor; swallow with water, do not hold in the mouth. Livmin tablets do not take effect immediately, but usually take effect after 4 weeks of continuous use. The recommended course of treatment is 12 weeks.

Adverse Reactions

1. Skin allergic reactions (rash, itching, urticaria), gastrointestinal discomfort (upper abdominal discomfort, diarrhea), edema (facial swelling, peripheral swelling), weight gain, and increased liver enzymes (aminotransferases) are rare in foreign countries.

2. There have been extremely rare reports of liver damage associated with the use of black cohosh products abroad, but the causal relationship with such products has not yet been proven.

3. In domestic clinical trials, a small number of cases experienced breast tenderness, vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, increased leucorrhea, edema, etc., and very few cases experienced headaches, gastrointestinal discomfort, and endometrial thickening. In addition, there was one case each of liver pain, elevated liver enzymes, palpitations, and dry mouth. Whether the above results are related to this product is still unclear; most of these symptoms are mild, transient or intermittent, and can be relieved, and have not led to drug discontinuation.

Taboo

1. Patients diagnosed or suspected of pregnancy.

2. People who are allergic to any ingredient of this product.

Precautions

1. For patients with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, severe organic lesions, substance abuse, drug addiction and alcoholism, since they are not included in the scope of domestic clinical research, there is currently no benefit and risk assessment of the use of this product for the above patients.

2. Patients who have been treated or are currently being treated for breast cancer or other hormone-dependent tumors should consult a physician before taking this medicine.

3. Patients with poor liver function or a history of liver disease are advised to consult a physician before taking the medicine.

4. If you experience signs and symptoms that may be related to liver damage (yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, upper abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue), stop taking the drug immediately and consult a physician.

5. Consult a physician if any menstrual problems occur or if menstruation reappears, if unclear symptoms persist, or if new symptoms appear.

6. This product may enhance the effect of estrogen. If you take estrogen at the same time, you should consult a doctor.

7. Patients with known lactose intolerance are advised to consult a physician before taking the medicine.

8. If symptoms worsen while taking this product, consult a physician.

9. If taking for more than 12 weeks, please consult a physician.
