The author believes that the more scientific definition of sudden death is that of the World Health Organization (WHO): "Sudden death occurs when a healthy or seemingly healthy patient dies suddenly due to a natural disease within a short and unexpected period of time." How long does it take from onset to death to be considered sudden death? There is currently no universally recognized unified standard for the specific quantitative time. Some people believe that the time from onset to death is within 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours, while others believe that it also includes deaths within 48 hours [1]. The World Health Organization believes that the time is within 6 hours, but this is just one person's opinion. It is currently recognized that most deaths within 1 hour of onset are sudden cardiac death.

The first cause of sudden death : Crazy weight loss. Many people lose weight for the sake of their own image, which greatly damages the body's immune function. Repeated weight loss can easily damage the stomach and heart. This requires special attention. For the sake of health, you should lose weight reasonably to avoid sudden death.

The second cause of sudden death : smoking and drinking. Many people have a good public image, but in order to stay up late and socialize, they have to smoke and drink all the time, and many women are no exception. Excessive smoking and drinking can cause vascular spasms and increase the risk of sudden heart attack.

The third cause of sudden death : various pressures. Pressure makes people prone to tension, anxiety and anger. Frequent emotional instability and excitement will cause serious endocrine disorders, increase blood pressure, significantly increase the load on the left ventricle, surge in myocardial oxygen demand, aggravate coronary artery blood supply insufficiency, and thus induce heart disease.

The fourth cause of sudden death : lack of sleep. Overall, if the sleep regularity is not strong, long-term irregular sleep will lead to serious endocrine disorders, mental depression, and will also affect the regulatory function of the heart. Staying up all night leading to sudden death is the main cause.

Cause 5 of sudden death : "Sudden death from coronary heart disease accounts for more than 90% of all sudden cardiac deaths and is the main cause of sudden death. Therefore, the main goal of preventing sudden death is to prevent sudden death from coronary heart disease. If we can do a good job in preventing sudden death from coronary heart disease, we can greatly reduce the incidence of sudden death.
