What is the best way to treat external hemorrhoids?

External hemorrhoids are actually a kind of disease. Especially when you exert force during bowel movements, the pressure in the veins increases repeatedly, causing the veins to swell. Sometimes the hemorrhoids may fall out of the hemorrhoids. In severe cases, they may cause bleeding. If they are not effectively treated for a long time, it will affect the patient's daily life and may even cause anemia. Therefore, in order to reduce the harm, you should pay attention to effective treatments, including oral medications, topical medications or fumigation, as well as surgical treatments.

1. Pathological analysis

Varicose veins are a chronic disease in which the venous plexus at the bottom of the anorectum and anal mucosa becomes varicose, forming one or more soft venous masses. Usually when you continue to exert force during bowel movements, the pressure in the veins here increases repeatedly, causing the veins to swell. During pregnancy, women often develop hemorrhoids due to compression of the pelvic veins, which impedes blood circulation. Many obese people also suffer from hemorrhoids.

If you have hemorrhoids, the walls of the swollen and twisted veins in your anus become very thin, making them very easy to rupture during bowel movements. Internal hemorrhoids are hemorrhoids that grow at the beginning of the anal canal. If the swollen veins are located further down, almost at the anal opening, these varicose veins are called external hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids may sometimes prolapse or appear outside the anal canal. But this only happens during bowel movements, after which it will retract back to its original position. Blood clots can occur in both internal and external hemorrhoids. When a thrombosis occurs, the blood in the hemorrhoids clots into a mass, causing pain.

II. Treatment

Currently, the methods for treating hemorrhoids can be divided into two categories: conservative treatment and surgical treatment. 1. Conservative treatment refers to oral medication, external medication, suppository, fumigation and other methods, such as; using Mayinglong ointment, etc. 2. Surgical treatment refers to methods such as drug injection, suture and ligation, surgical resection, freezing, and laser. But it requires a doctor's operation.

3. Prevention is also key

1. Strengthen exercise to enhance the body's disease resistance. 2. Rationally adjust diet: Eat more vegetables, fruits and foods rich in fiber, and less spicy foods. Depending on the condition of the disease, injection therapy, cryotherapy and physical therapy can be used. Severe cases can be treated with surgery, including ligation, rubber band ligation, hemorrhoidectomy, etc.
