In daily life, washing clothes and cooking are things we have to do every day, but many people don’t like cooking. That’s because cooking produces a lot of fumes, and it’s easy to get oil stains on clothes if you’re not careful. The trouble is not that the clothes get dirty, but that these oil stains are difficult to wash, especially on light-colored clothes, where these oil stains are particularly obvious. Also, when there are children at home, this trouble becomes more obvious. Good clothes may get a few drops of oil on them when eating. It is a headache every moment when you see such a situation. So how can you clean the oil stains? In fact, the main reason why oil stains are difficult to clean is that oil is insoluble in water, so it is more difficult to clean. However, there are definitely some tips for cleaning oil stains. Let’s talk about them below. Tip 1: Soak in warm salt water Soak the oily clothes in warm salt water, then rub with soap and rinse to remove the oily stains. Tip 2: Apply toothpaste When clothes are contaminated by animal and plant oils, squeeze some toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently several times, and then rub it with clean water, and the oil stain can be removed. Tip 3: Apply flour paste You can mix a little flour and water into a paste and apply it on the oil stains. After 10 hours, use a brush dipped in some clean water to brush off the powder and the oil stains will disappear. Tip 4: Scrub with soapy water When there are oil stains, rinse with boiling water first, then scrub with soapy water, and finally clean with warm water. Never use cold water. Tip 5: Scrub with detergent If oil is accidentally dropped on clothes, keep the clothes dry before washing. Then drop a few drops of detergent on the oil spots and rub them a few times. There will be no oil stains after washing. Tip 6: Scrub with banana water Oil stains on clothes can be scrubbed with banana oil first, then soaked in 3% salt water for a few minutes, and then rinsed with clean water. Tip 7: Sprinkle with raw flour If a fur coat is stained with oil, sprinkle some raw flour on the stain and then use a brown brush to rub along the fur until the stain is removed. Then, use a rattan stick or something similar to beat the wool surface to remove excess powder and make the wool fluffy and clean. Tip 8: Wipe with solvent gasoline Wipe with solvent gasoline and brush to remove. When brushing, use a towel or cotton cloth to absorb the stain solution wiped off in time to remove it from the surface of the clothes. This prevents some stains from remaining on the surface of the clothes after the solution evaporates, which will leave marks on the surface of the clothes. If marks appear, you can remove them by repeated wiping or brushing over a larger area. You can also apply water to the stained area of the clothes and spray it off with a high-pressure spray gun. |
