How to fill front teeth to make them more beautiful?

The incisors are the most conspicuous of the teeth. They are located in the middle of the teeth and are the largest in size. If there is a problem with the incisors: for example, a corner is missing, the incisors fall out, etc., it is easy for others to find out. The missing incisors not only affect eating, but also cause unclear pronunciation during conversation. The missing incisors can easily lead to the accumulation of bacteria in the defect, which can cause some physical diseases. Therefore, some measures should be taken to fill the missing front teeth. As long as the tooth roots are not broken, they can be retained. After treatment, a denture can be made on top of the tooth roots. The tooth roots need root canal treatment. Suggestions: It can be treated, but the dentures may need to be redone in adulthood.

A method of restoring tooth defects using artificial materials. The material used for repair is called filling material. Any tooth tissue defect caused by caries, wedge-shaped defects, trauma, etc. needs to be repaired to restore its appearance and function. When the lesion has spread to the dental pulp and even caused periapical disease, the dental pulp should be treated first and then the tooth should be filled.

Tooth filling steps

Tooth filling includes two main steps: cavity preparation and filling.

Oral examination

Before filling a tooth, the dentist will conduct a comprehensive examination of the patient's oral cavity, fully understand and appropriately treat the patient's oral health status, and develop the best filling and restoration plan based on the number of caries, treatment site, and severity of caries in the patient.

Cavity preparation

The cave is composed of cave walls, cave edges and cave corners.

Fillings

The principles of cavity preparation are:

① Remove the diseased tissue completely, otherwise it will cause secondary caries;

② Protect the dental pulp and healthy tooth tissue;

③ Establish a good retention shape (i.e., a shape that can keep the filling in the cavity without falling off or loosening) and resistance shape (i.e., a shape that can withstand chewing force without breaking the filling or tooth) to prevent the filling from breaking, falling off, or not fitting tightly and causing secondary caries.

Cavity disinfection

When the cavity is prepared, it needs to be fully and thoroughly disinfected. Depending on the severity of caries lesions, the disinfection time for different caries varies greatly. If it is early caries, only a one-time disinfection is required to fill the filling material; if it is moderate or deep caries, three to five sealing treatments are required; and if the dental nerve is involved, root canal treatment is required first.

Filling

Isolate saliva, disinfect the cavity, prepare filling materials and fill them into the cavity, and sculpt the shape immediately. Be careful to remove the part that exceeds the occlusal surface to avoid iatrogenic occlusal trauma. There should be no overhang of fillings on the adjacent surfaces to avoid irritating the gums and causing inflammation.

Tips for filling teeth

Dental fillings can make your teeth more beautiful and remove rotten teeth. After a tooth is filled, food will no longer get stuck in your teeth when you eat. However, the only thing patients may not notice is that they think that after a tooth is filled, they will no longer have cavities or tooth decay. In fact, this is not the case. The oral environment itself has not changed after a filling. This bad oral environment is the root cause of your tooth decay. However, filling a tooth cannot change the oral environment. Therefore, what you need to do after filling a tooth is to pay attention to oral hygiene, brush your teeth in the morning and evening, and let the oral environment reach an acid-base balance, which will greatly reduce the incidence of tooth decay. You can also use some drugs to improve the acid-base balance of the oral environment, such as watermelon frost.
