Radiation therapy

The effect of complete resection of benign meningiomas is extremely good, but due to their growth location, approximately 17% to 50% of meningiomas cannot be completely resected, and a small number of malignant meningiomas cannot be completely resected either. The above two situations require radiotherapy after surgical resection. Malignant meningiomas and hemangiopericytic meningiomas are sensitive to radiotherapy and the effect is certain. Other treatments
