What are the precautions for blastocyst transfer

Blastocyst transfer is generally suitable for in vitro fertilization, which is a technology mainly used for women with long-term infertility. There will be relatively large changes in a woman's body after blastocyst transplantation. In order for a woman to conceive successfully, she must pay attention to care after blastocyst transplantation to avoid affecting the state of conception. At the same time, she must also pay attention to dietary conditioning. So what are the precautions after blastocyst transplantation?

1. Rest in bed and reduce exercise

After the blastocyst embryo transfer, the expectant mother needs to lie still for 48 hours and try to reduce turning over and getting up. If lying on her side, make sure the angle is less than 45 degrees. Do not take a bath during this period. After confirming pregnancy, try to take a shower instead of a bathtub to avoid infection. In addition, do not engage in physical labor and avoid strenuous exercise after pregnancy.

2. Prohibition of sexual life

Sexual activity should be prohibited after transplantation to avoid inducing uterine contractions and affecting the implantation of the blastocyst. After embryo transplantation, you should avoid crowded places with poor air circulation; when the weather changes, add clothes in time to avoid infectious diseases such as colds.

3. Pay attention to your diet

After the transplant, you can increase your nutrition appropriately, eat more lean meat, fish and other protein-rich foods, and eat some vegetables and fruits, but avoid eating raw, cold, spicy and other irritating foods, and keep your bowels open.

4. Don’t catch a cold

Expectant mothers should pay attention to weather changes, add or remove clothes appropriately, and try not to get sick which may affect the development of the blastocyst.

5. Pay attention to changes in your body

After blastocyst transplantation, pay attention to whether your body has obvious symptoms such as abdominal pain, bleeding, etc. Once you find obvious discomfort, seek medical attention as soon as possible and do not delay.

6. Keep a happy mood

Patients who are undergoing in vitro fertilization are very worried about the success rate, so they easily become nervous. However, please keep a calm mind during this period and provide the blastocyst with a relaxed body environment, which is beneficial to its implantation.
