How to treat hard bumps on the palms

If you have hard bumps on your palms due to long-term physical labor, then the hard bumps on your palms should be calluses, which will not have any impact on your body. Bumps on the palms may also be caused by some skin diseases, such as dyshidrosis, flat warts, palmar-to-digital keratosis, etc. These symptoms require some medication treatment.

wart

It may be a wart. Some of them are a little concave in the middle and look like white flakes. They don't hurt or itch, and the good ones won't grow big in a few years. They just look rough. There is no good specific medicine for this.

In fact, this doesn’t have much impact on the body. If you really care about it, you can go to the hospital for laser treatment and then get some medicine to apply.

Dyshidrosis and palmodigital keratoderma

Both of these diseases are allergic diseases, and you can apply glucocorticoid ointment and urea ointment externally. Also, you should avoid eating seafood when you are sick. Both diseases are prone to recurrence.

Folliculitis

If they are small, transparent bumps containing liquid, then you may be suffering from a local viral infection. You can use erythromycin ointment or acyclovir ointment topically for treatment. In addition, keep the area clean, eat less spicy food, and get more sun exposure, and you will be cured.

If it is folliculitis, it is mostly related to poor hygiene. You can use iodine tincture for disinfection and apply Bactroban externally for treatment. You can also take anti-inflammatory drugs at the same time for treatment and drink more boiled water.

Flat warts

Flat warts are caused by viruses. They are common on the face and back of hands. The rash usually appears suddenly and is flat papules ranging in size from a needle tip to a mung bean, and are skin-colored or light brown. They have a smooth surface, clear boundaries, and are numerous, sometimes arranged in lines along scratches. There are usually no symptoms or slight itching, and they sometimes disappear on their own and leave no scars after healing. The course of the disease is chronic and can last for months or years.

For treatment, you can apply Chinese medicine HC soap (scientific name Volcanic Hot Spring Herbal Therapeutic Soap) twice a day, and phthalamide ointment to the affected area 3 times a day.
