What are the symptoms of hemangioma

Hemangioma is not common. The so-called hemangioma mainly refers to the combined name of lymphangioma and hemangioma. Most of them are benign tumors and often appear on the face. They mainly refer to some manifestations caused by vascular malformations. The tumor is generally purple-red and irregular in shape, with unclear boundaries. The intelligence is relatively soft. Some are spongy and some are like cystic hygromas.

Hemangioma

1. Characteristics: The tumor is purple-red (fixed specimens are dark brown), irregular, with unclear boundaries, no capsule (infiltrative growth), and soft in texture. If the tumor cross-section shows thin-walled vascular spaces of varying sizes containing blood (blood clots) with thin gaps in between, resembling a sponge, it is called a cavernous hemangioma.

2. Types: (1) Capillary hemangioma. Capillary hemangioma is a common congenital telangiectatic malformation. Acquired disease is rare. Affects appearance or is accompanied by sweating, increased tissue temperature or long-term repeated blood loss. (2) Cavernous hemangioma. Cavernous hemangioma is a common benign tumor or malformation of the maxillofacial region.

Lymphangioma

1. Characteristics: The tumor is grayish white and translucent, without capsule, and has unclear boundaries with surrounding tissues; multiple cystic cavities containing lymph fluid can be seen on the cut surface; when the lymphatic vessels are enlarged and fused with each other in a cystic shape, containing a large amount of lymph fluid, it is called a cystic hygroma.

2. Types: (1) Racemose hemangioma; (2) Cavernous lymphangioma; (3) Cystic lymphangioma.
