4. Moxibustion can be performed in the morning or afternoon, and there is no need to avoid it on cloudy or sunny days. It is better to treat insomnia by moxibustion at night.

5. There are generally no adverse reactions to moxibustion. However, due to different physical conditions and symptoms, the initial moxibustion may cause fever, fatigue, dry mouth, general discomfort and other reactions. Or if you have a constitution of yin deficiency and yang excess, such as night sweats, hot hands and feet, irritability, insomnia, dry mouth, yellow urine and dry stool, you should not do moxibustion every day. However, even if it is for health care, if you are doing moxibustion according to the course of treatment, it is best to do it continuously every day for the first three times, 15-20 minutes for each acupoint, and then you can do it every other day, and 10 days as a course of treatment. The moxibustion time for children and the elderly should be shorter.
