How to treat acute nephritis?

Acute nephritis is a common clinical disease. This disease has a great impact on the human body and may be accompanied by many complications. Acute nephritis is more common in men. There are many types of symptoms of acute nephritis clinically, and different symptoms require different treatments, which mainly focus on treating the disease with the right medicine. As long as acute nephritis is treated promptly, the prognosis is relatively good. So how to treat acute nephritis?

1. Treatment of hypertension and heart failure

If you suffer from such acute diseases, you should take timely treatment measures. Those with hypertension require routine treatment. For those with significantly elevated blood pressure, it is not advisable to lower the blood pressure suddenly, or even to normal, to prevent a sudden decrease in renal blood flow, which may affect or aggravate renal insufficiency. For the treatment of heart failure, since there is a problem of high blood volume in the early stage of acute nephritis, the focus of treatment should be on clearing water and sodium retention and reducing blood volume.

2. Edema treatment

When patients develop edema, what methods can be used to treat this disease? For patients with mild edema, no treatment is required, and it will disappear through salt restriction and rest. For those with obvious edema, medication can be used for treatment, and intermittent use is generally better than continuous use.

3. Anti-infection treatment

According to the different symptoms of acute glomerulonephritis, appropriate treatment measures are given. For patients in the acute stage, anti-infection treatment can be given; if there is no infection, it is generally not appropriate. Using drugs to prevent recurrence of the disease is often ineffective.

4. General treatment

Bed rest is very important for patients with acute illness. Bed rest can increase renal blood flow and improve abnormal urine changes. Prevent and alleviate complications and prevent reinfection. When edema subsides, blood pressure drops, and urine abnormalities are alleviated, you can take a moderate walk, gradually increase light activities, and avoid suddenly increasing the amount of activity.
