Can hearing loss be cured? How to treat it?

The ear is one of the most important sensory organs of the human body. It is responsible for processing sound and is the most indispensable organ in the process of human communication. The biggest function of the ear is to collect and analyze sounds. Therefore, hearing is an extremely important indicator for the ear. However, ear diseases are also a big problem. Let’s take a look at whether hearing loss can be cured? How to treat it?

This phenomenon is a symptom of deafness, but each person has a different degree of illness and the degree of deafness is also different. Generally, the person is not completely deaf. Most people will have residual hearing, often accompanied by tinnitus, which is mostly low-pitched. Sometimes there is a feeling of blockage in the ear, and some are accompanied by varying degrees of dizziness. The prognosis of sudden deafness is better than other neurological hearing loss. Some can recover naturally without treatment, but the recovery process is different. Therefore, active treatment can achieve better results, and the earlier the better.

treat:

1. During the acute phase, you should rest in bed and receive symptomatic treatment. You can choose sulfonamides and antibiotics to reduce inflammation.

2. Before the tympanic membrane perforates, 2% to 5% phenol glycerin can be used for ear drops, 3 times a day, 3 to 4 drops each time; if the ear pain is severe, the tympanic membrane bulges or the perforation is too small, and pus drainage is not smooth, surgical myringotomy can be considered.

3. If the eardrum is perforated, you can first wash the ears with 3% boric acid water or 3% hydrogen peroxide, and then choose an ear drop medicine, such as 2% phenol glycerin, 2.5% chloramphenicol glycerin, 1% to 2% gentamicin or 1% berberine solution, etc., and use 1% ephedrine and other nasal drops at the same time to promote the anti-inflammatory and unobstructed Eustachian tube, so as to facilitate tympanic drainage. If the pus discharge stops and the eardrum perforation has healed, but the hearing is still poor, indirect Eustachian tube blowing can be performed.

4. Pay attention to prevent colds and flu, and avoid water ingress, etc.
