What are the steps for applying nail polish?

Nail polish is a common manicure tool, and there are many types of nail polish. Different types contain different ingredients. Generally, nail polish is rich in dyes and oily substances, which can smooth the nail surface and change the nails into various colors. Applying nail polish is also divided into many steps. Correct operation will make the nail surface smoother.

Nail painting steps

Clean your nails: If the surface of your nails is not clean and contains dust, grease and other debris, it will affect the effect of applying nail polish. Even if you use very good nail polish, it is likely to have uneven color, poor adhesion, and easy peeling.

Therefore, the first step in applying nail polish is to thoroughly clean the nails, remove these debris, and then dry the nails, and then you can start the next step.

Primer (optional):

Applying a layer of nail polish base coat can make the nail surface smoother and enhance the adhesion of nail polish. Why is it necessary to make the nail surface smoother? Because you cannot see with the naked eye that some subtle unevenness on the nails, if you apply nail polish directly, the nails may not be shiny and smooth enough due to the unevenness.

Apply nail polish:

Each time you apply nail polish, the amount of nail polish on the brush should be roughly the same. It is recommended to do this: when you pull out the brush, scrape the mouth of the nail polish bottle before applying. After that, dip the nail polish in the bottle again and scrape it again. This way, you can basically keep the amount of nail polish on the brush basically the same each time you apply it.

The first coat should start in the middle of the nail. Aim the nail polish brush at the base of the nail and press gently to spread the brush out in a fan shape to maximize the contact area with the nail, then slide toward the tip of the nail. Then gently trim the parts on both sides, the effect is quite good! Apply evenly and effortlessly.

Apply topcoat: Wait until the previous nail polish is dry, then apply another layer of topcoat on it.

Top coat is a transparent and relatively thin nail polish. Its function is to form a smooth bright film on the surface of the nails after it dries (because it is relatively thin, after being applied to the nails, it can form a smooth surface in a short time due to the self-flow principle), making the surface of the nail polish look doubly bright and smooth, and making the original color of the nail polish more beautiful.
