The throat is a very important breathing and eating channel in the human body. Therefore, the throat is in working condition every day and is a vital part for human life. However, the throat is prone to lesions after long-term stimulation, leading to irreversible consequences. For example, pharyngitis, laryngeal cancer, etc. are all relatively frightening diseases. Let’s introduce how to prevent throat diseases.

Various chronic diseases throughout the body, such as constipation, anemia, chronic inflammation of the lower respiratory tract, cardiovascular disease, etc., can also lead to pharyngitis. The patient feels discomfort in the throat, which may be dry, itchy, or swollen, with excessive secretions and burning pain, nausea, a foreign body sensation, and difficulty in coughing up or swallowing. The above symptoms worsen when talking a lot, eating irritating foods, feeling tired, or when the weather changes. Breathing and swallowing are unobstructed.

Daily prevention of throat diseases can be carried out by referring to the following points:

(1) Pay attention to oral hygiene and develop the habit of rinsing your mouth after meals to prevent the growth of bacteria.

(2) Foods such as amaranth, carambola, lemon, honey, tomato, green fruit, kelp, radish, sesame, raw pear, water chestnut, Imperata root, and sugarcane can clear away heat and reduce annealing, and nourish the yin fluid of the lungs and kidneys. You can eat them in moderation.

(3) Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, avoid exposure to cold, and rest in bed during the acute phase.

(4) People who are frequently exposed to dust or chemical gases should wear masks, face shields and other protective measures.

(5) Drink more boiled water with light salt, eat easily digestible food, and keep your bowel movements smooth.

(6) Avoid smoking, drinking, spicy food, food that is too cold or too hot, and food with a fishy smell.

(7) Always keep the room well ventilated.

(8) Do not speak for a long time, and avoid shouting at the top of your voice, as this will cause fatigue in the throat and reduce the resistance of the throat.
