This method is the fastest way to treat herpes simplex virus

Herpes simplex virus is an infectious disease. If you do not pay attention to public health, you will easily be infected. Herpes simplex virus is prone to occur in the mouth, lips, or eyes, etc. It can be treated by taking medication, taking some antiviral drugs or injection treatment.

Treatment

1. Systemic treatment: This disease is self-limiting and can heal itself in about 2 weeks. Generally, symptomatic treatment is given and no special treatment is required. For severe generalized cases, in addition to supportive therapy, acyclovir can also be taken orally, 200 mg each time, 5 times a day, for 5 to 7 days. It can also be administered by intravenous drip, 5 mg/kg body weight each time, once every 8 hours for 5 days (concentration 1-6 mg/mL, injection completed in 1 hour). Levamisole, 50 mg each time, 3 times a day, orally for 3 consecutive days a week. Polymyxin B 2mg qd iM10 days as a course of treatment. It can alleviate symptoms and inhibit the spread of the virus, but it cannot control recurrence.

2. The principles of local treatment are mainly drying, astringing and preventing infection. External use of 1% zinc chloride oil, lithospermum oil, etc.

Special blocking order

1. Currently, the herpes simplex vaccine is still under development. If you are infected with the herpes simplex virus, symptomatic treatment can be taken to relieve your symptoms.

2. For women with primary infection, they should consider pregnancy after the symptoms have been eliminated for a period of time.

3. Pregnant women should stay away from patients infected with herpes simplex virus.

4. If the infection occurs before delivery, a cesarean section may be considered to prevent the infection from being transmitted to the newborn.

Symptoms

1. Clinical manifestations of primary herpes

The incubation period ranges from 2 to 10 days, with an average of 6 days. The affected areas in men are the foreskin, glans, coronal sulcus, and penis, and occasionally the urethra, prostate, and seminal vesicles. The symptoms of primary infection are often more serious. Before the blisters appear, there is often burning, itching or abnormal sensation at the inoculation site. Women have more vaginal discharge, followed by the appearance of light red spots or papules. On this basis, clusters of tense blisters ranging in size from sesame to mung beans quickly appear.

2. Clinical manifestations of recurrent herpes

It often occurs within 1 to 3 months after primary genital herpes. Recurrent genital herpes may be accompanied by sacral radiculopathy: symptoms include pain or paresthesia in the buttocks or thighs, urinary retention, and erectile dysfunction. Other complications include proctitis, prostatitis, urethritis syndrome, etc.

3. HSV infection of fingers

HSV infection of the fingers is a complication of primary genital or oral herpes. The virus can enter the skin tissue through the broken parts of the fingers, causing erythema, edema and tenderness on the infected fingers. The blisters and pus scars on the fingertips are difficult to distinguish from various bacterial infections. There is often fever, swollen and painful lymph nodes in the elbows and axillae.
