What foods can cure cough?

If we have a long-term cough, we must pay attention to correct conditioning and improvement. There are some foods in life that can effectively treat cough problems, such as drinking some soup with ginger, brown sugar and garlic, or rock sugar and pear can effectively treat and relieve cough problems.

1. Ginger, brown sugar, garlic

When you have a cold accompanied by a cough, you can cook 3-5 slices of ginger (1-2 slices for children), 7-10 cloves of garlic (2-3 cloves for children), and half a spoonful of brown sugar together over low heat for 10 minutes to cook off the spiciness of the garlic. This will have a better effect.

2. Steamed Garlic Water

Take 7 to 10 cloves of garlic, or 3 to 5 cloves for children, smash them, put them in a bowl, add half a bowl of water, put in a piece of rock sugar, cover the bowl, put it in a pot to steam, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.

When the garlic water in the bowl is no longer hot, drink it when it is relatively warm. You don't have to eat the garlic. Drink it 2 to 3 times a day, half a bowl at a time. Garlic is warm in nature and enters the spleen, stomach, and lung meridian. It is very effective in treating cold cough and kidney deficiency cough, and it is convenient and simple.

3. Scrambled eggs with sesame oil and minced ginger

Put a small spoonful of sesame oil into the wok, add the minced ginger after the oil is hot, let it fry in the oil for a while, then pour in an egg and stir well. Eat it while it is hot before going to bed. Eat it once a night for a few days and you will see obvious results.

4. Pear, pepper, rock sugar

Wash a pear, cut it in half horizontally along the stem, dig out the core, add 20 peppercorns and 2 crystal sugars, align the upper part of the pear, put it in a bowl, and steam it for about half an hour. Adults can eat it all at once, and children can eat it in two times.
