Dietary health care measures for ovarian tumors

The eating habits of ovarian tumor patients are very important, so what are the dietary precautions for ovarian tumor patients? I believe this is a topic of concern to many ovarian tumor patients and their families. Let's learn about the dietary precautions for ovarian tumor patients.

1. Nutritional balance: In addition to adequate protein intake, fat and sugar should be consumed in moderation. Pay special attention to the supplementation of vitamins E, D and minerals such as iron and calcium. Appropriate supplementation of vitamin E can scavenge free radicals, improve skin elasticity, delay the process of gonadal atrophy, play an anti-aging role, and regulate immune function. 150-300 mg per day is sufficient.

2. High calcium diet: The latest research in the United States shows that daily intake of high calcium foods can reduce the incidence of ovarian tumors. According to data, people who consume high calcium foods every day have a 46% lower incidence of ovarian tumors than those who do not consume enough calcium.

3. The supply of calories and protein (protein food) should be sufficient. You can eat more milk, eggs, lean pork, beef, rabbit meat, fish, poultry, soy products, etc. If the patient is anorexic to greasy (oily food) meat, cheese, omelet, salted duck eggs, etc. should be eaten. You should also eat more honey (honey food), as well as cereals (cereal food) such as rice and noodles.

4. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as rape, spinach, Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, onions, hawthorn, fresh dates, kiwi, asparagus, kelp, etc. If nausea is severe, you can drink vegetable juice, or eat some refreshing cold dishes and fruits.

5. Drink at least 2000 ml of water every day to reduce the irritation of the drug to the mucous membrane of the digestive tract (digestive food) and promote the excretion of toxins. Milk, soy milk and mung bean soup can help excrete the toxins released by cancer cells.

6. Arrange the three meals reasonably. Breakfast and dinner should be arranged before 6 am and after 7 pm respectively, to extend the time interval between medication and meals and reduce drug reactions. Avoid using irritating condiments (condiment foods) such as pepper and mustard, as well as fried, smoked and grilled foods; patients with ovarian tumors should eat a light diet, and avoid or eat less high-dose lactose and excessive animal fat.
