Don't ignore stomach pain, it's your body telling you

Stomach pain is one of the most common pains in our daily life. Many people may not pay attention to its causes, because the pain may pass after a while. However, pain in every part of our body is a signal from the body to remind us that we should pay attention to our health. The causes of stomach pain are generally indigestion, liver disease and poor gastrointestinal function, which are discussed in detail below.

1. Intestinal spasm.

This is the most likely cause of stomach pain. Most of the stomach pains in children are caused by intestinal spasms (intestinal cramps). The main cause of intestinal cramps is improper eating (such as eating too much; eating a lot of cold food, etc.). The treatment is to take belladonna together with phenergan, chlorpheniramine, etc., but generally there is no big problem.

2. Acute pancreatitis.

The causes are mostly overeating, and most of them are greasy and indigestible food; pancreatitis caused by biliary ascariasis blocking the bile duct (this situation is rare). The symptom is pain on the upper left side of the belly button. Pancreatitis can usually be cured, but acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis can quickly lead to shock. Symptoms include severe abdominal pain (vomiting, poor mental state, and gray complexion. If rescue is not timely, it can lead to death. The first step in first aid for pancreatitis is fasting, followed by liquid diet adjustment.

3. Enteritis.

The main symptom is pain in the entire lower abdomen centered around the navel, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea. The stomach feels soft and there is no fixed tender point. Enteritis is usually caused by eating unclean food. Just pay attention to food hygiene in daily life.

4. Appendicitis.

The main symptom is pain in the right lower abdomen, with obvious abdominal distension, accompanied by vomiting, tenderness in the entire abdomen, and the patient is not allowed to touch it. The fever may be over 38 degrees. Because it is easy to cause perforation and become peritonitis.

5. Intestinal obstruction.

Different ages have different intestinal obstructions, and may also suffer from intestinal obstruction. If abdominal surgery has been performed, adhesive intestinal obstruction may also occur. Symptoms include intermittent pain around the navel, accompanied by vomiting, vomiting up undigested food, and tender spots on the stomach when touched (pain in random locations that cannot be touched).
