How to apply corn plaster for best effect

How to apply corn plaster for best effect

Corns are a relatively common skin disease that mainly grows on the soles of the feet and can cause pain when people walk. A relatively simple treatment method is to use corn plaster. When using this medication for treatment, you should also understand some things. For example, when removing the corn plaster after treatment, it is best to soak the affected area in hot water, and then use a sterilized knife to dig out some of the things inside.

1. Corn patches rely on their corrosive properties.

The skin on the surface of the corn is corroded together with the corn underneath. The depth of corrosion is very important. If it is shallow, there will be residue. If it is deep, it will be very painful and unbearable. The local skin after the chicken patch is mostly red, which will cover up the condition and make it impossible to judge whether the corn has improved.

2. Precautions for using corn patches

After removing the corn patch, soak the area in hot water first, then use a blade to gently scrape the surface to see if there is anything like an eye in the middle. If there is, continue to use the corn patch;

3. Pay attention to prevent infection

If there are many black spots on the surface after the corn patch is removed, this is plantar wart, a skin disease similar to corns but contagious. It is forbidden to use corn patches for this type of disease, otherwise it will aggravate the infection.

4. Observe the condition

If the surface is not clear, you can temporarily stop using it and observe it again on the second or third day, and you should be able to see it;

5. Effect of using corn patch

If the corns still recur after repeated use of corn patches, it means that the corns are relatively deep and the corn patches will not be effective. You can go to a local hospital for a minor surgery to remove them. Although surgery is painful and expensive, it is very unlikely to recur.

6. Identify corns

Note that if black spots can be seen on the surface of the corns, or there are several of them, do not use the corn patch. This is a plantar wart, which is contagious and can grow a lot. In most cases, there is only one corn.

7. Elderly people with diabetes are prohibited from using corn patches.

After all, wounds on the skin of diabetic patients are difficult to heal. You can go to the hospital's dermatology department for cryotherapy; although the effect of cryotherapy is slow, it is relatively safe.
