What are the methods for treating rhinitis?

The treatment of rhinitis should of course be carried out in a timely manner, and there are different methods to treat rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis can be treated with some Chinese medicine methods. You can also eat more honey, which can have an anti-allergic effect, or wash your nose with cold water.

1. Traditional treatment of allergic rhinitis

1. Traditional Chinese medicine method: Use the Bi Ning Ling spray, spray 3-4 times a day. When using it, tilt your head slightly and spray as deep into the nasal cavity as possible to allow the medicine to contact the nasal mucosa. This therapy is easy to use, has a very good therapeutic effect, and is deeply loved by patients with rhinitis. It is currently the most commonly used and effective traditional Chinese medicine for rhinitis.

2. Traditional Chinese medicine method: Use 3 grams of magnolia and 10 grams of patchouli. You can also use only magnolia. Brew it with boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. First, use the hot steam to fumigate your nose for a few minutes, then drink it frequently and persist for a long time.

2. Bee venom method

The method of using bees to sting acupuncture points is said to be a cure because bee venom contains substances that increase resistance to allergies. However, this method has certain risks and should not be abused by yourself. Since many people are allergic to bee venom, you need to consult a professional.

3. Eating honey

Take honey twice a day, one spoonful each time. If you want to take it with water, you must use warm water. Water that is too cold will cause diarrhea. If the water temperature exceeds 80 degrees, the honey will produce toxins. Note: This method is only suitable for patients who are allergic to pollen or grass (commonly known as hay fever), so it is recommended that you go to the hospital for an allergen test before trying it to confirm that you do have allergic rhinitis caused by pollen or grass allergy before using it.

4. Cold water nasal washing method

After getting up every morning, use a basin of cold water, immerse your entire nose in the water and inhale slightly, so that the water can enter the nasal cavity and fully contact the nasal mucosa. Be careful not to use too much force. This method should be used with caution by children to avoid choking on water. This method requires long-term persistence to achieve significant results. It aims to improve the adaptability of the nasal mucosa, and is especially effective for allergic sniffles caused by seasonal and temperature changes. It can also effectively improve immunity to colds, but symptoms such as nasal congestion, nasal soreness, and runny nose may occur when you first use it.
